Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By creating an account or accessing MideQR (mideqr.app) and its associated services, APIs, or mobile applications, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you must not use or access the service.

2. User Accounts & Responsibilities

To access certain features of MideQR, you must register for an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

3. Acceptable Use Policy & Zero Tolerance

MideQR empowers creators and businesses to distribute links and media. However, we maintain a zero-tolerance policy for abuse. You agree not to use MideQR to generate QR codes that redirect to or promote:

• Phishing, credential harvesting, or deceptive financial scams.
• Malware, spyware, ransomware, or malicious software distribution.
• Hate speech, harassment, defamation, or illegal products and services.
• Unsolicited bulk email (spam) or automated link abuse.

We reserve the right to inspect destination URLs and immediately terminate, deactivate, or redirect any QR code that violates this policy without prior notice or refund.

4. Plans, Subscriptions & Billing

MideQR offers three tiers of service:

• Free Tier: Includes up to 20 saved QR codes and standard static generation. Free accounts are subject to monthly scan limits (500 scans/month) and platform fair-use policies.
• Premium Plan (Monthly or Yearly): Unlocks unlimited dynamic QR codes, vector exports (SVG, PDF), real-time scan analytics, smart device routing, and design customization. Subscriptions renew automatically through Paystack unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Lifetime Access Plan: A one-time purchase granting permanent access to all current and future Premium features with zero recurring subscription fees.

All billing is processed in Nigerian Naira (NGN) via Paystack. International cards are converted to your local currency by your card issuer at current bank rates.

5. Cancellations & Refund Policy

You may cancel your recurring subscription at any time from your Profile dashboard. Upon cancellation, your Premium benefits will remain active until the end of your current paid billing period, after which your account will return to the Free Starter tier.

Because digital access is activated immediately upon payment verification, subscription payments are generally non-refundable except where required by applicable consumer protection laws.

6. Dynamic Redirection & Service Availability

While we strive for 99.99% redirect uptime and employ global edge routing, MideQR is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We are not liable for business disruptions, lost sales, or damages resulting from external DNS failures, network provider outages, or third-party downstream issues.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights and ownership of your logos, branding assets, and destination content uploaded to MideQR. MideQR retains all intellectual property rights in the platform software, algorithms, designs, and vector styling engines.

8. Termination of Service

We may suspend or terminate your access to MideQR immediately without liability if you breach these Terms, engage in fraud, or create security risks for other users.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to revise these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will provide notice via email or a platform announcement before new terms take effect.
